Three-Phase Common Mode Choke

Three-phase common-mode choke, sometimes referred to as a three-phase common-mode choke coil, consists of three identical windings symmetrically wound on a closed magnetic core (typically toroidal or rectangular), corresponding to the A, B, and C phases of three-phase power. Its operating principle is consistent with that of a single-phase common-mode choke, but extended to a three-vector system.

  • Features

    1. Suppresses common-mode noise
    2. Minimal differential-mode voltage drop
    3. Compact structure with high symmetry requirements
    4. Requires high saturation magnetic flux density
  • Advantages

    1. High space utilization and integration
    2. Enhanced cost-effectiveness
    3. Consistent and stable filtering performance
    4. Exceptional high-frequency noise suppression
  • Applications

Widely used in variable frequency drives, PV/energy storage inverters, EV charging stations, industrial power supplies, and motor drive systems.
