Shiled Inductor

Shielded I core inductors feature an additional magnetic shielding layer (typically made of ferrite) wrapped around the traditional toroidal core. This shielding fully or partially encloses the coil and core, forming a closed or semi-closed magnetic circuit that confines the magnetic field and prevents external radiation.
